Dentist of 40 Years, Skyrockets His Practice by $285k in Just 6 Months

Dr. Adams Treating Patient
As of this year, Dr. Adams has practiced dentistry for an impressive 40 years.

Throughout all of the years, Dr. Adams worked with multiple business coaches and marketing companies.

Unfortunately, these companies did not generate any tangible results for his practice.

He was sick and tired of paying money to “marketing gurus” who didn’t help his practice grow. Understandably, Dr. Adams was skeptical about giving another chance to a marketing company.

After meeting with Dr. Adams several times, we knew he was an outstanding dentist who cared deeply about his patients. He gave his private cell phone number to emergency dental patients.

Dentists as passionate as Dr. Adams are just a few feet from gold. We knew we could help him get there.

For the next six months, we coached Dr. Adams. We reworked his dental website and implemented bulletproof strategies.

It wasn’t long before he started to see some awesome growth!

Dr. Adams’s production has been absolutely mind-blowing.

After just the first six months of 2021, he was already $285,000 ahead in production compared to last year. While we did deal with COVID closures last year, his numbers from 2020 were fairly consistent with 2018 and 2019 as well.

For example, here’s his monthly production year over year:

Future Visits

Future visits are the number of visits scheduled after the previous day. So, future visits include the scheduled appointments for today and beyond. Future visits help to ensure healthy growth, as they play a major role in production.
Dr. Adams’s Future Visits Year Over Year
For Dr. Adams, we increased future visits by increasing the number of new patients as well as the pre-appointment percentage. As you can see, his future visits in the past were below 500. Now, they’ve reached 600

Pre-Appointment Percentage

Active patients with a scheduled appointment are deemed “pre-appointment.” We’ve improved his pre-appointment % by almost 10% in less that six months.
Pre-Appointment Percentage

Treatment Acceptance %

Production is a multiplier of Visits and Production Per Visit. Grow in both of these aspects will always give a robust increase in production.

Growing the treatment acceptance percentage also helps boost Production Per Visit.

Dr. Adams’s treatment acceptance
In the picture above, Dr. Adams’s treatment acceptance rate is 61%, which means that percentage of patients agree to the treatment he diagnoses.

Growing this has been extremely valuable for his practice. There are many patients that you already see and diagnose. You don’t have to spend a ton of money or time to acquire them, they are right in front of you. Increasing the percentage of those who accept treatment is an excellent way to boost production.
